Extraordinary stories

Edgar Allan Poe
Extraordinary Narrations by Edgar Allan Poe is a book that
contains several stories mostly with a disturbing or bloody theme so to speak
these stories are called, The Crow, Berenice, The Black Cat, The Crimes of
Morgue Street, William Wilson, The Letter stolen, The well and the pendulum,
The fall of the House of Usher, The mask of the Red Death, A descent inside the
Maelstrom and The barrel of amontillado. Something that I dislike is that it is
too philosophical the way in which the stories are narrated and sometimes I get
confused as it goes off topic. Even so there were some stories that I liked
because of the content that these are The Black Cat, The Crimes of Morgue
Street and The Red Death Mask but the one I liked the most was the Black Cat so
I decided to pay more attention to this and focus on it.
The black cat
This is about a man who has too many pets among them was
Pluton his favorite cat that he loved because he stood out among the others for
being black, the man had a wife who was always with Pluton, spending time the
lord fell into alcoholism and he became more violent and began to mistreat his
pets except Pluton, with the passing of days the lord had murdered his pets
causing Pluton to fear him and when he tried to get away he fled this made the
man get mad and I take him out an eye to Pluto and hanged him later this one
gets another cat that casually lacked an eye and was very affectionate with him
but it was more with his wife this angered him and tried to kill him but his
wife stopped him, this makes him increase his fury and murder his wife the
scared man thinks of a method to get rid of a corpse and it occurs to him to
wallop it while he locks it up on one of the walls he listens to the cat and he
drives him mad with fury, he takes the cat and locks him alive next to the
corpse of his wife, days later the police come to investigate and after a long
investigation the gentleman hits the walls to show that they are solid and
begins to hear louder and louder cries making him fall from madness to the
ground and the policemen run out of fear
